Description
As Puerto Rico recovers from multiple disasters, hundreds of billions of dollars are flowing from the Federal Government to the local economy over the next decade. Those funds come with many legal restrictions. This course will explore how funds are made available through grants and what governments, businesses, and community organizations must do to access and comply with the Federal framework of laws and regulations. Programs covered will include the U.S. Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG) and CDBG Disaster Recovery Funds.
